Embark on a Culinary Journey

At the helm of the InterContinental Perth City Centre’s many kitchens is Chef and Director of Restaurants and Bars, Andrew McGie, who brings his wealth of knowledge and passion to the hotel’s restaurants and team. With international culinary experience, including catering for the likes of Richard Branson on the exclusive private Necker Island, Andrew McGie is more than prepared for your dining experience.

Our holistic approach to sourcing local, seasonal ingredients allows us to create innovative dishes that are expertly prepared and beautifully presented, while showcasing some of Western Australia’s finest produce.

Heno & Rey

Colourful, vibrant and deliciously authentic. The clinking of sangria glasses and the warmth of laughter is like a little love note from Spain. The atmosphere and music is so lively, the tapas themselves are almost dancing off the plate. Dishes prepared by our chefs such as snapper ceviche and the long-standing crowd pleaser Rey Pollo are quick to get from the kitchen to the table while the homemade sangria is the perfect thirst-quencher to match.
So, settle in and stay a little or a long while at Heno & Rey.

Offering a truly unique dining experience that pleases all the senses, settle in at Ascua where the warm, dim lighting, wooden floors and leather booths set the scene for a moody yet theatrical atmosphere. Watch as a full kitchen skillfully prepare meats and seafood in the large open kitchen. With a carefully curated wine menu to also enjoy, dinner at Ascua is not to be rushed but an experience to take pleasure in.

Please note, Ascua is currently only open for breakfast from 6:30am – 10:30am, 7 days a week. Reservations for mealtimes outside of this can be made at Heno & Rey.
